Gordon is expected to produce rain accumulations of 4 to 6 inches over southern Alabama, southern and central MS, and southeastern and northeastern Louisiana, with isolated maximum amounts of 8 inches through late Thursday, according to the hurricane center.
Tropical Storm Gordon continued its push toward the northern Gulf Coast and is expected to make landfall by Tuesday night as a hurricane, according to forecasters.
Officials have issued a hurricane warning for a broad area stretching from the mouth of the MS to the Alabama-Florida border.
