The dark mode became one of the most requested features for YouTube's Android app, The Verge quoted the tech giant as saying. Dark Mode can also be toggled on and off in individual emails by clicking a button at the top of an email labelled "turn on the lights". For desktops and laptops, switching on the dark theme is similar to that on Android. Despite its massive popularity, the video service from Google had users clamoring for a dark theme for a very long time, but with no response from the technology giant. Also, anything previously white will be converted into the dark theme, including search pages, backgrounds, tabs, and even the minimized video player. Since the roll out of dark mode for Android is still happening and spreading to devices, it doesn't look like YouTube has just rolled it out as a test feature. It was then revealed that the mobile apps would get it as well starting with the iOS version. A user can Enable dark theme throughout the app settings by toggling the aptly-titled "dark theme" option.
As for Dark Theme, it's especially useful for those who prefer low-light settings.
Thieves with stroller allegedly steal shark from San Antonio aquarium
Management caught up to the suspects in the parking lot and were denied access to both searching the vehicle and the stroller. As police swooped on the house, they discovered the shark, visibly well and unharmed, swimming in a tank in the man's garage.
That said, it's worth noting that the color we are looking at once Dark Mode is enabled isn't totally black.
Notably, this is not the only new feature which YouTube has added to its arsenal in the recent. The change was rolled out last Friday by the Google owned video streaming side.
