After a particularly brutal slash and burn at the major networks this week that saw 20 shows canceled in a 24-hour period, Gotham fans were forced to wait until the very last moment to receive news about the show. FOX dropped Lucifer like a hot potato, surprising everyone, andLucifer's numbers are a lot better than Gotham's are.
The decision to axe Gotham comes without surprise since the televisions series has been on a continuous decline since the second season.
