Earlier, sources said Sengar was likely to surrender before the police after the Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed to probe the rape case and the suspicious death of the victim's father in custody, submitted a preliminary report to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday evening.
However, she did not speak anything on the audio tape pointing to her husband's involvement, at least in the murder of the victim's father.
