The government dispatched 600 buses which started collecting people around 4:30 a.m.to the stadium where the service took place.

The very channel that aired the documentary several times in the last few days was accused of unfairly focusing on the negative aspects of Madikizela-Mandela's activism hours after her death.

The late Madikizela Mandela united some people as witnessed by the attendance of people across the political divide. Mandela, South Africa's first black president, fired her as one of his deputy ministers. Dignitaries also included Presidents of the Republic of Congo and Namibia, as well as civil rights leaders from around the world, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson. The mourning period, as declared by the President following her passing, end on Saturday evening.
