The team has already finished the PC versions of Tomb Raider 1 and 2, and is now working on the remaster of Tomb Raider 3. You'll also need to own the original Steam releases of Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 in order to play the remasters, as they're essentially just extensive mods (but hey, if you've already bought the games on Steam, the remasters are free). Bringing Tomb Raider to iOS and Android meant they recreated the game engine in OpenGL, added a few more modern effect like ambient occlusion and better shadowing. A range of graphics options and X-box controller support are on the cards as well. OpenVR support is also promised, though the extent of this support is not now clear. TR1-3 remaster for PC are planned for Steam for free and will requires the purchase of the DOS version being sold on Steam (like ZDoom playing Doom games).
The news was revealed by Realtech VR on Twitter.

Still based on the 2013 game of the same name, it opens in cinemas this Friday, March 16.
There is a scene in Tomb Raider where Croft traps a man in a choke-hold till he goes limp, and you can see the horror of killing someone for the first time reflected in her face - a far more acceptable reaction to taking a life than Jolie's signature sexy smirk.
